Susanne CERANKE (married HOENIGMAYER, remarried ARNOLD), born on October 1
st, 1921 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Prim. Dr. Paul Ceranke (1891-1971, physician) and Dr. Gertrude Ceranke, née Ekstein (1893-1956, physician), lived in Wien 7
th district, Stiftgasse 21. She graduated from high school ("humanistischen Gymnasium Wien 6., Rahlgasse 4") on March 16
th, 1939 and passsed the obligatory "Reichsarbeitsdienst" Freilassing/Bavaria from April to September 1939 and enrolled in fall term 1939/40 at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
She was discriminated as a so called "Mischling 1. Grades" and could not continue her and was forced to leave the university in June 1940.
