Robert JOACHIMOVITS (born on February 6th, 1892 in Vienna) was lecturer ('Dozent') for Geburtshilfe und Gynäkologie at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938. Robert Joachimovits was able to emigrate to Yugoslavia (Bay of Kotor). His sister Marianne Joachimovits emigrated to Brasilia together with her husband Prof. Richard Wasicky.
