Lisbet WEISZMANN (married DICHTER), born on July 26
th, 1916 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Josef Weiszmann (salesman), lived in Vienna's 9
th district, Berggasse 18, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 4th year of her studies and took courses in History, German and English language and literature Studies.
She registered for the final exams ('Rigorosen') on January 19
th, 1938 and passed the first Rigorosum on March 12
th, 1938, the day of the 'Anschluss'. After this she was no more allowed to take the final exam and had to quit her studies.
She could continue her studies in History only after the end of National-Socialism. As a matter of 'Wiedergutmachung' (reparation, compensation) she was exempted from enrollment of another term in 1951 and could hand in her dissertation: "Die Stroemungen in der oesterreichischen Sozialdemokratie bis zum Hainfelder Parteitag." (doctoral advisors: Lhotsky, Benedikt) on September 26
th, 1952 and passed the second Rigorosum on October 20
th, 1952 successfully and graduated finally on November 13
th, 1952 at the University of Vienna.
