Herbert ELIAS (born on April 30th, 1885 in Vienna, died on July 29th, 1975 in New York, NY, USA) was Pd. (ao. Prof.) for Innere Medizin at the Medical School of the University of Vienna. He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938.
He was able to emigrate to the USA, and also his children
Hanna Elias, married Kapit, and
Kurt Elias, who were both expelled from the University of Vienna.
