Helene RÜBNER (RUBNER), born on January 22nd, 1917 in Feldsberg, Moravia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [later Czechoslovakia, today: Valtice/Czech Republic] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") 1938 for Straßhof/Lower Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of Hermann Rübner (railway official), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Kleine Pfarrgasse 28/20, was last enrolled in the fall term of 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 3rd year of her studies and took courses in Romance languages and literature Studies and History.

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.

She was able to flee from Vienna to Great Britain in 1938 on a domestic service permit and in 1939 she was employed in Dewsbury, County West Yorkshire in England.

Helene Rubner died, aged 94, on March 30th, 2011 in Dewsbury West Yorkshire (Yorkshire) England.
