Ernst Friedrich KOLLMANN, born on September 7th, 1917 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Max Kollmann (civil servant), lived in Wien 20, Heinzelmanngasse 13/38, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 3rd year of his studies and took courses in Classical Philology and Linguistics (in the spring term 1938 he requested to continue his studies in the context of the Numerus clausus of Jewish Students, but was rejected).
He succeeded in finishing his studies only after the end of Nationalsocialism in 1947 with his dissertation: 'Die Sprache des 5. Hymnus des Kallimachos.' and graduate on April 1st, 1947.
