Agathe MEYER (later MEYER-ROSENQVIST), born on November 6th, 1915 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of
Univ. Prof. Dr. Stefan Meyer (physicist), lived in Wien 1, Dr. Karl-Lueger-Ring 6, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 4th year of her studies and took courses in Chemistry.
She registered for the final exams on March 4th, 1938, shortly before the 'Anschluss'. She could continue her studies in the context of the Numerus clausus of Jewish Students until the end of the spring term 1938 and could pass the first Rigorosum on July 5th, 1938. Then the examination procedure was interrupted. Her dissertation 'Zur Kenntnis der Beziehungen unter den Atomgewichten.' (doctoral advisors: Ebert, Galinoysky) was approbated nearly 10 years later on March 25th, 1947. She could graduate on April 1st, 1947.
Her brother
Friedrich (Fred) Meyer (1918-2004) was in the secons year of his law studies when he too was expelled from Vienna University.
