Regina OBLATT, born on February 10th, 1916 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of Baurat Ing. Franz Oblatt (engineer), lived in Vienna's 4th district, Johann-Strauß-Gasse 45. In June 1935, she passed her school-leaving examination ("Matura") at the Realgymnasium of the Wiener-Frauen-Erwerbs-Verein and began studying medicine at the University of Vienna in the fall term of 1935/36. She was last enrolled at the Medical School in the 3rd year of her studies in the spring term of 1938, but the last term was no longer credited "due to lack of frequency".
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (leaving certificate ["Abgangszeugnis"] dated July 18th, 1938).
Even after the end of National Socialism, no doctorate by her under this name can be found until 1954, and she is unlikely to have resumed her studies.
Nothing is known about her further life.
