Elisabeth MAYER (later: married HEINRICH), born on March 27
th, 1921 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Richard Mayer (clerk railsway company), lived in Vienna's 2
nd district, Hollandstrasse 9/11. She had graduated from highschool in 1939 (Staatlichen Oberschule für Maedchen Wien 1), and enrolled at the Medical School in fall term 1939/40.
She was able to begin her studies in National Socialism and - for any time revoked - continue for the time being. After completing all prescribed courses and examinations in 1944, the leaving certificate was issued on March 3
rd, 1944 issued, but for racist reasons she was not allowed to graduate.
She could finish her studies only after the end of National-Socialism and graduated on June 8
th, 1945, and the diploma was backdated to July 17
th, 1944, tha day she fullfilled all requirements for graduation except affiliation to "aryan race" (in National-Socialist terms). First she practised as temporary assistant physician at the Robert Koch Krankenhaus ("Kaiser Franz Josefs-Spital) in Vienna's 10
th district, then as secundary physician at the hospital Rudolfsstiftung.
In early 1948 she married Hans Heinrich and they moved to Moedling/Lower Austria. Hans and Dr. Elisabeth Heinrich got a child.
