Ilse BENEDIKT (married HUK), born on August 14th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Dr. Ernst Benedikt (writer), lived in Vienna 19th district, Himmelstraße 55, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of her studies (spring term 1938 was validated on March 21st, 1938). In 1947 on the proposal of the Austrian Communist Party KPOE she became assessor for the De-Nazification-Commission at the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs according to §19 and about 1948 she is mentioned in the "Directory of Physicians perpetrated by National Socialism" of the Restitution Office of the Vienna Medical Association as a victim of Nazism.

She was married at this time and lived and practiced as Ilse Huk-Benedikt in Vienna 22nd district, Schuettaustr. 1/10.
