Siegfried LINSKER, born on December 10th, 1917 in Lemberg/Poland [Lwiw/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Himberg/Lower Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Raphael Linsker (pharmacist, deceased), lived in Vienna 4th district, Favoritenstrasse 48, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 3rd year of his studies and took courses in pharmaceutics and chemistry.
After the takeover of power of National-Socialism in 1938 he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason without a chance to graduate. He requested to continue his studies in the context of the 2% numerus clausus of Jewish Students, but was rejected and had to leave the University of Vienna.
