Leon Linder was enrolled finally in fall term 1936/37 in the 5
th and last year of his studies ("Absolutorium" was certified on June 17
th, 1938) and was preparing for the final examinations ("Rigorosen") in 1938.
In 1938 he was forced to quit his studies and to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takeover of power of National-Socialism. But after numerous incertainties he could finally finish his studies and graduated on July 21
st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a "Nichtarierpromotion", which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
