rd, 1903 in Brody/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Brody, Citizenship: Poland), son of Dawid Likwer (private agent), lived in Vienna 20
th district, Rauscherstrasse 11/3 between 1921 and 1929, then frequently changed his addresses and since 1936 he was registrated in Vienna's 2
nd district, Nordwestbahnstrasse 15 (until 1940). Around the turn of the year 1934/35 he resided in England.
He was enrolled finally in fall term 1928/29 at the Medical School of the University of Vienna in the 5

In 1938 he was forced to quit his studies / preparations for examination and to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takeover of power of National-Socialism. But after numerous incertainties he could finally finish his studies and graduated on July 21
st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a "Nichtarierpromotion", which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
Isak Likwer (Liquer) lived and worked in Vienna as a "Jewish Krankenbehandler" and as a sales representative and was arrested on September 11
th, 1939 by the Vienna State Police and was deported on October 2
nd, 1939 to the concentration camp Buchenwald (Category: police prisoner, HNr. 7159). For his trial, he was transferred from Buchenwald on March 27
th, 1940 to the court "Landgericht Wien" in Vienna and returned to Buchenwald on September 2
nd, 1941 (Category: Schutzhaft-Jude, HNr. 1525). Then he was transferred to Natzweiler on March 12
th, 1942, from there to the Dachau concentration camp on August 17
th, 1942 (category Schutzhaft-Jude, HNr. 34625) and on to the Auschwitz concentration camp on October 19
th, 1942.
He did not survive the Holocaust - the exact date of death could not yet be determined.
