Szyja Libicki

Szyja LIBICKI, born on September 14th, 1916 in Łódź/Poland (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Łódź/Poland, citizenship 1938: Poland), son of Godel Libicki (1882–1940, merchant in Łódź) and Golda Lipicka, née Gavronska (1891–1942), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Servitengasse 8/16, respectively Vienna's 5th district, Schoenbrunner Strasse 23/11, was last enrolled in the spring term of 1938 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of hisr studies (spring term 1938 was validated on October 11th, 1938).

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.

Szyja Libicki had to flee Vienna and returned to Poland. His father was murdered there in 1940, his mother was deported from Łódź to Auschwitz in 1942 and murdered.
Nothing is yet known about Szyja Libicki's subsequent fate.
