Gertrude KOCOUREK (married HOF), born on October 7
th, 1919 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Franz Kocourek (white-collar employee), lived in Vienna's 3
rd district, Kleistgasse 28 and had graduated from high school ("Matura", "Reifepruefung") "Realgymnasium Wien 3" in summer 1937 and started to study medicine. She was enrolled in spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 1
st year of her studies.
She was discriminated as a so called "Mischling 2. Grades" and she could continue her studies at first - valid until revoked. She could even finish her studies and graduate on June 16
th, 1943.
