Ilse Franziska KARY, born on August 21st, 1915 in Vienna wasn't enrolled at the Philosophical School any more in 1938, but was preparing for the final examinations. She graduated from high school (Maedchenrealgymnasium Vienna 8th district Albertgasse) on June 22nd, 1933 in fall term 1934/35 she started her German language and literature studies and continued to enrpoll until spring term 1937. Ilse Franzisk Kary registered for the final examinations on December 20th, 1937 and passed the first  "Rigorosum" on January 31st, 1938. She presented her dissertation "Rainer Maria Rilkes Anschauung vom Wesen des schöpferischen Vorganges" on February 9th, 1938 which was accepted on February 20th, 1938. For racist reason it was uncler, whether she could continue the examination procedures for half a year, but finally she also passed the second "Rigorosum" on October 29th, 1938 and could finally finish her studies. She  graduated on October 31st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a "Nichtarierpromotion", which included at the same time that she was banned from her profession.
