Herbert Holzer

Herbert HOLZER, born on February 19th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), was the son of Heinrich Holzer (civil servant, deceased). Three years after he had graduated from high school ("Akademisches Gymnasium") in Vienna in 1933, he began to study medicine at the University of Vienna. He first lived in Vienna 1st district, Graben 30, from fall 1937 on in Vienna 9th district, Liechtensteinstraße 66. His legal guardin, Robert Strauss (lawyer) lived in Vienna 1st district, Wollzeile 23. Herbert Holzer was enrolled finally in fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 4th, 1938).

After the "Anschluss" 1938 he was able to emigrate from Austria.

He died on April 21st, 1992 in New York City/USA.
