Maria Hermine HACZEK, born on October 23rd, 1920 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna, Citizenship: German Reich), was the daughter of Max Josef Haczek (Redakteur i.P., Wien) and lived in Vienna 9th district, Wasagasse 31. After she had graduated from high school ('Staatsgymnasium') in Vienna on June 24th, 1938, she began to study chemistry, physics and mathematics at the University of Vienna. She was discriminated as a so called 'Mischling 1. Grades' and she was enabled begin her studies at first - valid until revoked. She was enrolled finally in the 1st trimester 1940 at the Philosophical School in the 2nd year of her studies.
