Elisabeth Johanna Margarethe HAAS, born on April 5th, 1913 in Schirgiswalde, Saxonia/Germany wasn't enrolled at the Philosophical School any more in 1938, but was preparing for the final exams ('Rigorosen').
She registered for the final examinations ("Rigorosen") in psychology on November 19th, 1937. Her dissertation "Die Rolle der verschiedenen Zeigarten im Drama" was accepted on January 12th, 1938. In 1938 she was forced to quit her studies and to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takeover of power of National-Socialism. But after months of numerous incertainties she could finally take the two final examinations and passed the first 'Rigorosum' on October 17th, 1938 and also the second 'Rigorosum' on October 31st, 1938. The same day she graduated on October 31st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a "Nichtarierpromotion", which included at the same time that she was banned from her profession.
