Alice GYÖRGY, born on June 11th, 1911 in Frauenkirchen/Burgenland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Frauenkirchen/Burgenland, Citizenship: Austria), was the daughter of Dr. Johann György.
For a long time she couldn't afford an apartment for her own, but changed very often from flat to flat. Between 1932 and 1936 she had five addresses in Vienna, most of them in the 6th district (1932: Vienna 6th district, Linke Wienzeile 54/14; 1932/33: Vienna 6th district, Magdalenenstrasse 1/7; 1933: Vienna 6th district, Loquaiplatz 13/22; 1933/34 and from 1935 on: Vienna 6th district, Capistrangasse 2/17; 1934/35: Vienna 7th district, Lindengasse 11/8). After she was registered at her birth place Frauenkirchen for some time, she returned to Vienna in autumn 1937 and lived in Vienna 6th district, Capistrangasse 2/17.
Alice György was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 3rd year of her studies.
On June 30th, 1938 she was registered in Vienna 12th district, Schlöglgasse 5-7/5, until she was deregistered in December 1941 as "fled unknown" ("unbekannt flüchtig").
She was murdered on June 24th, 1944 in Budapest.
