Emmerich GRÓSZ, born on November 30^th, 1916 in Sárospatak, Hungary/Austro-Hungarian Empire [Hungary] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Nyíregyháza/Hungary, Citizenship 1938: Hungary), son of Zoltan Grósz (engineer), lived in Vienna's 9^th district, Glasergasse 6/7, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 4^th year of his studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on November 28^th, 1938, spring term 1938 was validated on November 25^th, 1938). He was deported to Auschwitz [Oswiecim/Poland] and died there.
