Martin GLASGALL, born on July 30th, 1919 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Georg Glasgall (salesman, pharmacist), lived in Vienna 2nd district, Praterstrasse 42, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 1st year of his studies and took courses in pharmaceutics and chemistry. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism, he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason - allthough he first applied for continuing his studies in the context of the 2% numerus clausus of Jewish Students, but was rejected - and had to leave the University of Vienna immediately.
