Martin GLASGALL, born on July 30
th, 1919 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Georg Glasgall (salesman, pharmacist), lived in Vienna 2
nd district, Praterstrasse 42, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 1
st year of his studies and took courses in pharmaceutics and chemistry.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism, he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason - allthough he first applied for continuing his studies in the context of the 2% numerus clausus of Jewish Students, but was rejected - and had to leave the University of Vienna immediately.
