Hubert GLASER, born on January 19^th, 1916 in Wiener Neustadt/Lower Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Wiener Neustadt/LowerAustria, citizenship 1938: Austria) as son of Wilhelm and Hermine Glaser, née Winkler (1886-1955, merchant in Wiener Neustadt), lived in Wiener Neustadt/Lower Austria, Braeunlichgasse 28, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 3^rd year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 4^th, 1938). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna. He had to flee Vienna and managed to enter the British Mandate territory of Palestine (Israel) illegally in early 1939.
Later he lived in Australia, where his mother died in 1955. Hubert Glaser died on March 25^th, 1985 in Sydney, NSW/Australia and is buried at Rockwood General Cemetery in Sydney.
