Regina Janina ASKENAZY, born on June 14
th, 1912 in Warsaw [Warszawa]/Poland (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Warsaw [Warszawa]/Poland, Citizenship: Poland), daughter of Univ.-Prof.Dr. Szymon Askenazy (1866-1935, historian writer, politician) and lived in Vienna 18
th district, Scheinpfluggasse 9.
She had started her studies at the Josef Pilsudsky University in Warsaw and enrolled in fall term 1937/38 at the University of Vienna to continue her studies at the philosophical school. She took courses in chemistry, physics and pharmacy.
In 1938 she was forced to leave the University of Vienna for racist reason after the takover of power of National-Socialism.
