th district, Muellnergasse 6/32. After he had graduated from high school (Bundes-Realgymnasium in Horn/Lower Austria) in 1932, he began to study at the Medical School of the University of Vienna in fall term 1932/33. He was finally enrolled in spring term 1937 in the 5

On April 2nd, 1939, he managed to escape from Austria and emigrate via Liverpool to the United States, where he arrived on April 18th, 1939 in New York. He initially had to work as a factory worker in the Lample Knit Wear Comp. in Cleveland, Ohio before he managed to work medically. He then worked in a tuberculosis hospital at Mc. Comelsville, Ohio: Rocky Glen Sauat before he reached the State Board for New York in 1942. He was naturalized in 1945 (and chenged his name to "Fisher") and then worked as a general practitioner in Auburn, NY until the late 1970s and retired from Longboat Key, Sarasota, Florida.
