Oskar FABER, born on December 15th, 1916 in Krakow, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [Kraków/Poland] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Gorlice/Poland, Citizenship 1938: Poland), son of Abraham Faber (merchant), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Servitengasse 20/5, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 1st year of his studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (spring term 1938 was validated on October 5th, 1938, Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on January 31st, 1939). He became a victim in the Shoah.
