Millada ERDSTEIN, born on September 26th, 1914 in Wiznitz/Romania [Vizhnitsa/Ukraine] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Hermann Erdstein (civil servant, deceased), lived in Vienna 2nd district, Afrikanergasse 14/5. She had graduted from high school for women ("Frauenoberschule") in Vienna on June 27th, 1933, and began his studies in fall term 1933/34 at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna. She was enrolled finally in spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 4th year of her studies and took courses in English language and literature studies and Musicology (in spring term 1938 she could continue her studies in the context of the Numerus clausus of Jewish Students until the end of the term).

She already registered for the final exams on November 12th, 1937 and passed the first exam ('Rigorosum') on December 15th, 1937 with excellence (examiners: Robert Reininger, Karl Buehler). But then the examination procedure was interrupted and she was not able to finish her studies.
