Menachem BORENSTEIN (Marvin Bornstein), born on March 13th, 1919 in Vienna/Austria (Citizenship: stateless 'staatenlos'), son of Abraham Borenstein (master tailor), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Leopoldsgasse 45/8, and graduated from high school in June 16th, 1937 at "Bundesgymnasium Wien II". He was enrolled in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of his studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna. He emigirated via Italy and Palestine to the USA. He became a rabbi in Los Angeles.
