Gerschon BRACHFELD, born on October 13th, 1918 in Stanislau, Galicia/Austro-hungarian Empire [later: Stanisławów/Poland, today: Iwano-Frankiwsk|Івано-Франківськ/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Kolomea/Poland, citizenship 1938: Poland), son of Leib Brachfeld (merchant), lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Schuettelstrasse 13/X/8, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 1st year of his studies.

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he she was forced to quit his her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna spring term 1938 was validated on October 5th, 1938, Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on November 7th, 1938).

He became a victim of the Shoah in the Ghetto of Stanislau/Poland.
