Robert Klaus WALLER, born on September 22^nd, 1914 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Max Waller (consul, 1886-1969) and Lilli Waller, née Bondy (1893-1977), lived in Vienna's 19^th district, Wuerthgasse 10, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 4^th year of his studies. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna (Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on July 18^th, 1938). He had to flee from Vienna and was able to emigrate via England on February 25^th, 1939, from Southampton to the U.S. where he arrived in New York City, NY, on March 9^th, 1939, and lived for the first few years with his parents, who had also emigrated in 1939, and his brother Hans [Howard] Heinrich (1922-1970) at 255 West End Ave. in New York City, NY, and worked at Flushings Hospital in NY. On April 2^nd, 1941, he married Marion Van Nostrand (1919-1983) in New York City, NY, and in 1943 he became a US citizen (Robert C. Waller).

He died on January 9^th, 2006 in MT Vernon, Ohio/USA.
