Alfred TAUBER (born on November 5th, 1866 in Preßburg, died on July 26th, 1942 in Theresienstadt [Terezín/Czech Republic]) was em. ao. Prof. (o. Prof.) for Mathematik at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university in 1938.
Alfred Tauber was married to Marie nee Mendelewitz since 1907, they lived in Vienna 2nd district, Fugbachgasse 10/11. He was deported to Theresienstadt [Terezín/Czech Republic] on June 28th, 1942, where he passed away on July 26th, 1942.
