Julius STERNSCHUSS, born on November 13th, 1913 in Kolomea/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Adolf Sternschuss (white-collar employee, since 1933 unemployed, since 1935 living in Antwerpen/Belgium), lived in Vienna 8th district, Schmidgasse 4. After he graduated from high school ('Reformrealgymnasium'), he began to study at the Medical School of the University of Vienna in fall term 1932/33. He was enrolled finally in spring term 1937 in the 5th year of his studies ('Absolutorium' was certified on July 18th, 1938).
Julius Sternschuss wasn't enrolled at the Medical School any more in 1938, but was preparing for the final exams ('Rigorosen'). He could finally finish his studies and graduated on July 21st, 1938, but only with the discriminating ceremony of a 'Nichtarierpromotion', which included at the same time that he was banned from his profession.
On September 24th, 1942 he was deported from Vienna 2nd district, Obere Donaustrasse 12, to Theresienstadt [Terezín/Czech Republic] and on May 16th, 1944 to Auschwitz [Oswiecim/Poland], where he died.
