Karl Heinrich STEINITZ, born on March 13^th, 1916 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Dr. jur. Heinrich Steinitz (lawyer, 1879-1942), lived in Vienna's 13^th district, St. Veitgasse 7, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Medical School in the 1st year of his medical studies (spring term 1938 was validated on February 13^th, 1939, Leaving Certificate ('Abgangszeugnis') was issued on February 13^th, 1939). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist (and political) reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
