Chaskel SCHLESINGER, born on May 10th, 1914 in Dembica/Poland (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Rubin Schlesinger (merchant), lived in Wien 2, Aloisgasse 4, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 4th year of her studies and took courses in Physics and Mathematics.
She registered for the final exams ('Rigorosen') on December 23rd, 1937 and passed the first Rigorosum on January 31st, 1938. After the 'Anschluss' she requested to continue her studies in the context of the Numerus clausus of Jewish Students in the spring term 1938, but was rejected. She was no more allowed to take the final exam and had to quit her studies.
