Ignaz BINZER, born on November 9th, 1911 in Drohobycz/Poland [Drohobytsch/Ukraine] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Jakob Binder (merchant), lived in Wien 1, Riemergasse 9/3, was enrolled finally in the spring term 1938 at the Philosophical School in the 7th year of his studies and took courses in Chemistry.
His experiments at the I. chemical laboratory, University of Vienna on "Cerebronsäure" and "Nervonsäure" have been published by A. Mülier in March 1939 in te journal "Berichte der deutschen chemischen Gesellschaft A/B", Vol. 72, issue 3, pp. 615–619.
He could emigrate to the USA and became a famous chemist in the United States, lived in New York and held some US-patents. e died in February 1988.
