Peter ROTH, born on March 12th, 1914 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Österreich), son of Emil Roth (engineer), lived in Wien 4, Theresianumgasse 3, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 5th year of his studies (Fall term 1937/38 was validated on May 31st, 1938). Allthough of protestant religion he was persecuted by national-socialists as a jew.
Peter Roth was able to emigrate to Great Britain and and later became a priest. He was one of the founders of an anthroposophical community to help children with special needs, inspired by Rudolf Steiner, the
Camphill Movement in Aberdeenshire, Scotland - together with Dr. Karl König,
Alexander Baum, a student of chemistry, also expelled from Vienna University in 1938, the Viennese photographer Alix Roth; the dancer Anke Weihs and two other medical student,
Thomas Weihs and
Marie Blitz-Korach also expelled from Vienna University in 1938 and the Viennese artist Carlo Pietzner and others.
