Pepi REICH, born on December 1st, 1912 in Rozwadów, Galicia/Austro-Hungarian Empire [today part of Stalowa Wola/Poland] (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), daughter of Ephraim Reich (1884-1942(?), merchant) and Khana Reich, née Tzange, lived in Vienna's 2nd district, Tandelmarktgasse 9, was enrolled finally in fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of her studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 28th, 1938). In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna. Later she worked as unoaid trainee ("unbesoldete Hospitantin") at the hospital of the Jewish Community of Vienna at Vienna 18th district, Waehringer Guertel 97. She was deported from Vienna 2, Tandelmarktgasse 9 to concentration camp Auschwitz [Oświęcim/Poland] on July 17th, 1942 and did not survive the Shoah.
