Maria RAMHAPP, born on October 13th, 1910 in Vienna/Austria-Hungarian Empire (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, citizenship: Austria), daughter of Josef Ramhapp (chauffeur), lived in Vienna's 21st district, Carrogasse 15, was enrolled finally in spring term 1939 at the Medical School in the 5th and last year of her studies.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was perpetrated for racist reason as "Mischling 1. Grades", although she was rom.-cathol. After numerous incertainties she could finally finish her studies and graduated on September 30th, 1940, but was at the same time banned from her profession.
She was only able to establish herself as a general practitioner in Vienna's 16th district, Koppstraße 14 after the end of National Socialism in March 1946.
Dr. Maria Ramhapp died on September 13th, 1973 in Vienna.
