Siegfried POHORILLE, born on April 11th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Isak Pohorille (salesman), lived in Wien 2, Große Mohrengasse 23/8, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 1st year of his studies and took courses in Romance languages and literature Studies and Classical Philology.
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
