Margarethe PIRKER (married: VENJAKOB), born on September 28th, 1920 in Vienna, daughter of Dr. Otto Pirker (senior railway official, retired), lived in Wien 13, Auhofstraße 223/7, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1938/39 at the Philosophical School in the 1st year of her studies and took courses in Psychology, German language and literature Studies and Educational Science. She was discriminated as a so called 'Mischling 1. Grades' but could continue her studies at first - valid until revoked. In 1940 the 'Reichserziehungsministerium Berlin' did not allow her to continue her studies and she had to quit.
But she succeeded in finishing her studies after the war in 1949 with her dissertation in Psychology an Educational Science: 'Wertwelt und Interessen der heutigen Vierzehnjährigen' (doctoral advisors: Meister, Rohracher) and graduated on May 17th, 1949.
