Walter ABISCH, born on August 11
th, 1916 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), was the son of a Mayerr Abisch (hat maker) and lived in Vienna 20th district, Brigittenauer Laende 36/7.
After he had graduated from high school he completed the supplementary exam in Latin at the University of Vienna in spring term 1936 and began to study medicine at the University of Vienna in fall term 1936/37. Walter Abisch was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 2nd year of his studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on January 29
th, 1938).
He was forced to quit the studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
