Stefan (Stephen A.) NEUMANN, born on December 23rd, 1917 in Szalkszentmárton, Hungary/Austro-Hungarian Empire (1938 entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Guessing/Burgenland, Citizenship: Austria), lived in Wiener Neustadt/Lower Austria, Herrengasse 22. He graduated from high school ("Bundesgymnasium Wr. Neutadt) in summer 1937 and started to study at the University of Vienna. He was enrolled last in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School and took courses in History, Psychology and Pedagogics. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna. Stefan Neumann had to flee Vienna and was able to emigrate in time. He probably came to the USA in the early 1960s, where he became a naturalized citizen on November 28th, 1966 and lived in New York City, NY. Stephen A.(dalbert) Neumann died on October 6th, 1971 in New York, NY/USA.
