Paul LIEBESNY (born on March 16th, 1881 in Vienna, died on August 11th, 1962 in the USA) was lecturer ('Dozent') for Physiologie at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938. He was able to emigrate to the USA.
