Heinrich UNGER, born on October 12
th, 1914 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ('heimatberechtigt') for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Wilhelm Unger (salesman) and Marie (née Neustadtl), lived in Vienna's 9
th district, Mosergasse 8, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 4
th and last year of his studies and took courses in History and German language and literature Studies.
In spring term 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism, he was selected on May 27
th, 1938, as one of a few Jewish students to continue their studies at first in the context of the 2%-Numerus clausus of Jewish students, but soon he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna without graduation.
His fahter was able to flee Vienna and died in Shanghai on October 27
th, 1944. If and where Heinrich Unger could survive times of National-Socialism is not known so far.
