Felicita KLINGHOFER, born on May 29th, 1919 in Drohobycz/Poland [Drohobytsch|Дрогобич/Ukraine] (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Niżankowice/Poland [Nyschankowytschi|Нижанковичі/Ukraine], Citizenship 1938: Poland), daughter of Dr. Samuel Klinghofer (physician in Niżankowice), lived in Vienna's 9th district, Tuerkenstrasse 8/III, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of her studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 9th, 1938). .
In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna, as was her twin sister Irma Klinghofer, who studied at the Medical School, too, and who was also expelled from the University of Vienna
They both had to leave Austria and were able to emigrate to France.
Felicita Klinghofer died five years after her twin sister on September 22nd, 2007 in Alès near Montpellier/France.
