Alfred Wolfgang WURZBACH VON TANNENBERG (born on June 3rd, 1879 in Vienna, died on February 10th, 1957 in Vienna) was ao. Prof. for Romanische Philologie at the Philosophical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on May 28th, 1938. He returned to Austria in 1945.
