Elisabeth NUSSBAUM, born on November 25th, 1915 in Budapest, Hungary/Austro-Hungarian Empire (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of Ing. Samuel Nussbaum (engineer), lived in Vienna's 20th district, Marchfeldstrasse 9/34, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Medical School in the 1st year of her studies (fall term 1937/38 was validated on February 9th, 1938).

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
