Edmund NOBEL (born on May 24th, 1883 in Esztergom, died on January 26th, 1946 in London) was lecturer ('Dozent') for Kinderheilkunde at the Medical School of the University of Vienna.
He was persecuted in times of Nazism as a Jew lost his position and was thrown out of the university on April 22nd, 1938. He was able to emigrate to Albania and then to London/Great Britain. Lit.: MERINSKY 1980, 171-172; UB MedUni Wien/van Swieten Blog
