Anna Nussbaum

Anna NUSSBAUM, born on February 20th, 1918 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, citizenship 1938: Austria), daughter of Josef Nussbaum (textile salesman), lived in Vienna's 5th district, Margaretenguertel 110. After graduation from high school (Realgymnasium Wien 5) she enrolled at the University of Vienna. In the fall term 1937/38 she was in the 1st year at the Philosophical School and took courses in German and Romance languages and literature Studies.

In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism she was forced to quit her studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
