Bruno MISES, born on July 1st, 1915 in Vienna/Austria (entitled residency ("heimatberechtigt") for Vienna/Austria, Citizenship: Austria), son of Dr. Josef Mises (lawyer), lived in Vienna 3rd district, Landstrasser Hauptstrasse 58/9, was enrolled finally in the fall term 1937/38 at the Philosophical School in the 2nd year of his studies and took courses in pharmaceutics and chemistry. In 1938, after the takeover of power of National-Socialism he was forced to quit his studies for racist reason and to leave the University of Vienna.
